Amina from Nzanza, Matadi
Story 16: Amina from Nzanza, Matadi
In Nzanza, Matadi, lived a twelve-year-old girl named Amina. Every Sunday, she went to church with her family, where she listened to gatherings about Lord Jesus Christ and Lord Shri Sanjay Sai Baba. Amina reflected deeply on the teachings and put them into practice.
By not only listening and thinking about what her kind and beloved Gurus taught, but also applying it in her daily life, Amina transformed from an ordinary girl into someone truly kind and good. She became honest, gentle with everyone, helped wherever she could, supported younger children with their homework, and meditated daily—thanking Lord Jesus Christ and Lord Shri Sanjay Sai Baba.
Her positive energy radiated peace and happiness, inspiring her friends to not just listen to their Gurus, but to truly live the teachings. More and more children in Nzanza, Matadi began following Amina’s example. They helped others and practiced the lessons of love and compassion. The village began to change—children and adults alike became kinder and more helpful.
People from across Congo and even from other countries wanted to meet Amina, talk to her, and get her autograph. Parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, and others all hoped their children would become like Amina. She became an inspiration to everyone, and through her example—especially her focus on putting teachings into action—many children who followed her lead began to feel the presence, protection, and love of God.
Today’s question: What do you think of this story, and will you also follow Amina’s example?
Heart-work: Do good whenever and wherever you get the chance.
